I was disappointed in our experience based on the reviews I had read, and the pictures I had seen.
The beds were comfortable. The hotel had an indoor pool. Light Continental breakfast: cereal, toast, bagels, sweet rolls, yogurt, fruit, coffee, juice, milk. Nice to have small refrigerator in room.
The room (125) had a damp feel and musty ordor. There appeared to be mold along the edge of the floor in caulking and grout in the bathroom. I would have requested a different room, but upon checking in at 8:30 pm, I heard that all the rooms were booked for Saturday night. The room was in close proximity to the pool, so it was noisy as well until 10:30 pm and by 7:30 am. Also the hair dryer kept overheating. Not worth $111 we paid to stay 12 hours. We had booked in advance.

The staff and service dyring my stay at The Village Inn were both helpful and curteous and the room I had was not only very comfortable but clean well kept, I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through the Waupaca area!

The staff treated us personally and seemed to "know" us right away. I noticed them treating others with the same friendly and respectful service.
The bathroom in Room 125 needs work. Grouting missing, dirt in corners, floor chipped in places.

We had a king room. Loved the memory foam topper on the bed. We slept wonderfully! We had a really nice stay.
